Name change then please
I understood you no longer retire accounts, then can you at least change my name to a deleted number?

No because that's the same as deleting an account.

why don't you retire accounts anymore?

Why don't you retire/delete accounts anymore?

Also if it's really that big a deal, then just please change my name to something unrecognizable like "duperman" or something.

People create an account on the same day and request its deletion "on the same day the account is created".

I don't know if this is understandable.

Would the option to let the user change their name be a good idea?

Like let user with at least 3 month old account be able to change the name once a year or something.FIltering names like "deleted, anon, admin, etc"

Well, it's understandable to not delete hours old accounts. But it's seems a bit strange to not delete the account of, say, someone who's been on this site for a year or so.

Also, how about just giving the users a "delete account" button. Not possible with this framework? Could it be coded in?

I don't know, you'd have to ask the admin.

I understand that may be annoying but is that so often that it's more than the people who have been on the site for a long time and wanted their accounts deleted?

you know, I would do that, but they don't tend to answer questions and they're arrogant as fuck.

To tell the truth, I don't know enough about the site to give my opinion on this.
